Description of the MBM 508A Friction-Feed Automatic Paper Folder
The MBM 508A Paper Folder is an automatic friction feed folder designed to make folding quick and This reliable folder comes pre-programmed with 36 standard folds, and up to 24 custom jobs can be stored in memory. The feed tray has the ability to accommodate jobs up to 11.8" x 17", and can accept 500 sheets of 64 gsm. The full color LCD touchscreen control panel lets anyone in your office operate this machine effectively even without training.
On the touchscreen, simply pick which of the 36 standard or 24 custom folds that you would like to complete, and the amount of materials you have to fold. When you push start, the fold plates automatically adjust to the correct measurements. If preferred, the user can run the machine in test mode. Test mode will run two of your copies through, so you can make sure that the fold you have picked will be the perfect fit for your materials. In the case of slightly skewed folds, simply make the fine adjustments to the folding position via the LCD control panel, or manually by adjusting the wheel at the top of the fold plate.
The 508A's batching feature is convenient for users who don't want to count and separate their materials after being folded. Double feed detection is very accurate and the machine will stop folding when two or more sheets were fed through at once. Another favorite characteristic of the 508A is the space saving storage option. With foldable exit and feed trays, the 508A will fit compactly in any size office.
