Air Feed
Air feed paper folders are the best option for digital printed paper. Air feed folders use air suction power to separate sheets of paper. Because digitally printed paper and glossy stock can stick to each other, friction feed folders can encounter errors. Glossy stock and card stock are thicker than typical paper and cannot be used in smaller paper folders, but air feed folders can fold at high speeds. Air fed folders are also typically faster because they tend to be larger machines designed for heavy loads.
Air feed paper folders are ideal for busy offices, print shops, and other facilities with high paper volumes. Friction rollers do have advantages, but are not suited for heavy duty jobs and certain paper stocks. Air fed paper folding machines have a wide range of capabilities can be an economical addition to any facility.
