Description of the Formax FD 386 Automatic Paper Folder

The Formax FD 386 tabletop folder is extremely fast and easy to set up. The intuitive full-color touchscreen is user friendly; allowing anyone to step up and start folding in seconds. Simply choose from one of the pre-programmed folds (including Letter, Half, Z-Fold, Double Parallel, Gate, and Engineering), or any of the other 25 custom folds, and the fold plates will adjust automatically. The 6-digit resettable & 8-digit life counters keep track for maximum audit control. The programmable Auto-batch feature allows users to process a pre-set number of sheets into sets with a delay.

The FD 386 can tackle large jobs at speeds of up to 17,000 sheets per hour. The three-roller drop-in feed system holds up to 500 sheets and facilitates dependable feeding with no fanning required. The stacker wheels can be manually adjusted to neatly and sequentially stack different paper sizes and fold types. The fold plates are fully enclosed and insulated, reducing operating noise for a quiet environment. As a bonus, the FD 386's exit conveyor is adjustable. It can be set between 14" to 36", allowing it to fit perfectly within any office space.
