Description of the MBM 1800S Automatic Air-Feed Paper Folder

The MBM 1800S Air Feed Paper Folder is capable of processing up to 18,000 sheets per hour into a half, letter, Z, double parallel, engineer, or gate fold. A total of 30 custom folds can be stored in the memory. It can fold paper as small as 4.5" x 8.25" and as large as 13" x 19", and paper weights between 16 and 80 lbs. A belt fed, air suction system on this folder allows the user to feed coated stock through with ease. In addition, the air pressure knob allows the user to adjust the level of air suction depending on the weight of the paper.

The top of the 1800S features a control panel with an LED screen that displays a four digit counter with batch and total functions. The test button located on the machine will run two pieces of paper through so you can make adjustments as needed. This folder also has an extended exit tray with automatic conveyor belt and self-setting exit rollers so your folded materials can be neatly ejected and stacked.

Maintenance and troubleshooting are easy with the 1800S. The new ultrasonic double-feed sensor can detect double feeds on any white, black, printed, transparent, or a mixture of colored sheets. Also new to the machine is a removable feed roller, adjustable folding roller pressure, and the spring loaded feed angle adjustment dial, which allows for easy cleaning and maintenance.
